A few blocks inland on Main Street, the Binoculars Building is one of Venice's most surprising landmarks: a pair of giant, three-story-tall binoculars serving as the entrance to an office building designed by architect Frank Gehry, with the sculpture itself created by pop artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen.
