When darkness falls, the entire park transforms into a labyrinth of haunted houses, menacing scare zones, shocking live entertainment, and themed food and drinks. This year's first confirmed haunted house is based on the Oscar-winning vampire film Sinners, transporting guests to 1930s Mississippi Delta where twin brothers Smoke and Stack open a juke joint—until Remmick's bloodthirsty vampires crash the party. Additional haunted houses and full scare zone lineups will be announced throughout the summer, so check back for updates. The Terror Tram also returns, and General Admission tickets start at $77. On October 31, 2026, the Los Angeles Philharmonic presents a mesmerizing screening of the 1923 silent classic The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Walt Disney Concert Hall (8 PM), paired with evocative live organ accompaniment by Clark Wilson. This unique concert-film experience breathes new life into Lon Chaney’s iconic portrayal of Quasimodo—the deformed bell-ringer himself—whose tragic origins are rooted in the horrific world of 15th-century Paris, as immortalized by Victor Hugo. Historians and film enthusiasts note Chaney’s character was inspired not just by Hugo’s novel but also by real medieval cathedral gargoyles and the deformities marginalized in society, giving performance and makeup an authenticity that defined early horror cinema. Wilson’s organ soundtrack will underscore the emotional depth and haunting atmosphere of both the character and the era, creating a spellbinding audio‑visual journey that is equal parts historical homage and concert spectacle.
