4-star hotel
Stepping into the Oceanview One Bedroom Suite at the Portofino Hotel, we were immediately enveloped by a sense of serene luxury. Our beautifully appointed room, approximately 700 square feet, welcomed us with its sophisticated charm and modern amenities. The plush pillowtop bed with down pillows, the marble bath with a rainfall showerhead, and the freestanding clawfoot bathtub offered a touch of spa-like indulgence.
The suite’s decor was a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, featuring a sophisticated mix of coastal and contemporary design elements. The four-post wrought iron bed stood as a centerpiece, complemented by a glass desk and two 42” flat-screen TVs. Mirrored glass décor added a touch of glamour to the room.
The suite’s living area, complete with a sleeper sofa and a double-sided fireplace, seamlessly opened into the bedroom. The dual fireplace cast a warm glow in both rooms, becoming the centerpiece of our evenings and providing a cozy ambiance as we listened to the ocean sounds with both sliding doors open throughout the night.
The marble bath, complete with a rainfall showerhead and designer bath products, added a touch of spa-like luxury to our stay. We particularly enjoyed the freestanding clawfoot bathtub, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring.
It was the balcony that truly captured our hearts. It offered panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, where sailboats gently swayed and seagulls gracefully soared, adding to the coastal charm. We spent hours here, listening to the soothing sounds of the waves and the playful calls of the seals basking in the marina. The balcony became our personal haven, a place where time seemed to stand still as we soaked in the beauty of the sea.

The staff was welcoming and attentive, enhancing our experience.
