RAMS - Return to Los Angeles

On January 5, 2015, the Los Angeles Times revealed plans for a new NFL stadium in Inglewood, marking the beginning of the Rams' return to Los Angeles. By January 2016, the NFL owners voted 30–2 in favor of the Rams' relocation, making them the first major league team to move since the NHL's Atlanta Thrashers in 2011. A press conference at The Forum in Inglewood announced their return, leading to over 56,000 season ticket deposits. Temporarily housed at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum from 2016 to 2019, the Rams played their first home game there on September 18, 2016, defeating the Seattle Seahawks 9–3. After years of preparation, including acquiring top draft pick Jared Goff and setting up training facilities at California Lutheran University and UC Irvine, the Rams moved to their permanent home, SoFi Stadium, in 2020.

Celebrity Fans

The Los Angeles Rams boast a star-studded lineup of celebrity fans, both from their early days and following their 2016 return. Actor Terry Crews, who was briefly with the Rams in 1991, and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, who named his son after Rams' quarterback Roman Gabriel, are among the notable supporters. Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss became a prominent fan in 2018, joining the Rams' media team and performing at home games, earning a Super Bowl ring for her support during their Super Bowl LVI victory. During the Rams' St. Louis era, rapper Nelly frequently showcased his support in his music and videos, despite his discontent over the team's move back to Los Angeles. The Red Hot Chili Peppers also reignited their connection with the Rams, performing a pregame concert in 2016 and continuing to support the team with Flea and Chad Smith often seen at SoFi Stadium. Their dedication was further cemented with a limited edition vinyl in Rams' colors following the team's Super Bowl win, with Strauss performing their song "Can't Stop" at every home game.
