California’s 2026 Pride season is shaping up to be one of the state’s biggest celebrations of LGBTQ+ culture, community, and visibility, with major events taking place across Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs, West Hollywood, Long Beach, and beyond. LA Pride returns to Hollywood on June 14 with its annual parade and Pride Village street festival, while WeHo Pride brings concerts, a street fair, and the popular OUTLOUD music festival to West Hollywood in early June. San Diego Pride follows in July with one of the nation’s largest Pride parades and a weekend festival in Balboa Park, and Greater Palm Springs Pride closes out the season Nov. 6–8 with its 40th anniversary celebration themed “Be Included.” From beachfront festivals and drag brunches to family-friendly events, live music, and community marches, Pride celebrations throughout California continue to highlight the state’s diverse LGBTQ+ communities and longstanding role in queer culture and activism.

Long Beach Pride 2026 takes place May 16th and 17th, with the parade stepping off on May 17 at 10:00 AM in Long Beach, CA. The weekend includes a free Friday Night at OUTLOUD, a free Street Fair, the Women's Freedom Festival, the annual Dyke March, the WeHo Pride Parade, and the OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride Music Festival. The highly anticipated OUTLOUD Music Festival features a pop-powered lineup led by the Pussycat Dolls, alongside JADE and Ava Max. Santa Cruz Pride takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026. It is the largest LGBTQ+ event on the Central Coast and the third-oldest Pride Parade and Festival in California, attracting over 7,000 participants annually since 1975. Now in its 51st anniversary, the parade kicks off in downtown Santa Cruz at Cathcart Street and travels along Pacific Avenue, with the Festival running from 12:00–16:00 on two entertainment stages, featuring over 100 booths, a beer garden, and MAH Family Day with free admission.

Napa Pride returns for its 24th year with events throughout the month of June. The official kickoff party is set for June 7 with a Sunday afternoon Tea Dance at Andaz Mercantile Terrace in downtown Napa. As one of the world's most famous wine regions, Napa Pride uniquely blends LGBTQ+ celebration with California wine country culture. Month-long programming includes a variety of social events, community gatherings, and Pride-themed experiences at local wineries and venues, making June in Napa a special destination for LGBTQ+ travelers and locals alike.

Every year, more than 20,000 visitors descend on Sacramento for the city's two-day SacPride. On June 13–14, the Capitol Mall transforms into a buzzing entertainment zone with food vendors and musical performances from Drag Race stars like Shea Couleé as well as local talent. On Sunday, the Pride March travels from Southside Park to the State Capitol, honoring the legacy of the Stonewall Riots. The LA Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 11 a.m., airing live on ABC7, under the bold theme "Rise with Pride." Organized by Christopher Street West (CSW), the nonprofit that created the first-ever sanctioned gay parade in 1970, the parade features over 130 groups composed of bands, dancers, floats, and special guests. Following the parade, the free Pride Village street festival runs along Hollywood Boulevard from 12:30–8:30 PM, featuring a live music stage, a full-service bar, over 100 vendors and exhibitors, and dozens of food trucks. The 6th Annual Hermosa Beach Pride Celebration returns to the South Bay from June 12 through June 14, 2026, bringing a vibrant weekend of community, celebration, and coastal Pride events to Hermosa Beach and nearby Redondo Beach. The festivities begin Friday evening with the “Slay by the Bay” Drag Show & Fundraiser at Deep End Live, featuring live music, a silent auction, and an exciting drag lineup. On Saturday, the celebration continues at Saint Rocke with an energetic music and drag showcase honoring the LGBTQ+ community. The 13th annual Los Angeles Dodgers LGBTQ+ Pride Night returns to Dodger Stadium on Friday, June 5, 2026, as the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the Los Angeles Angels in an evening celebrating inclusivity, community, and baseball culture. The world-famous parade marches down Market Street on Sunday, June 28, beginning at 10:30 a.m., while the two-day festival takes over Civic Center Plaza with multiple stages, community booths, and live performances. Under the theme "Resistance in Action," this historic event connects the city's deep roots in LGBTQ+ activism with a powerful, celebratory present.

Greater Palm Springs Pride marks its 40th annual celebration under the theme "Be Included," taking place November 6–8, 2026. The festival spans Downtown Palm Springs and the historic Arenas District, featuring multiple stages of live entertainment, an expansive exhibitor marketplace, and nightly block parties. The Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m., with the historic procession featuring over 225 entries stepping off in Uptown and traveling south along Palm Canyon Drive to Amado Road. With its warm November desert weather and one of the highest concentrations of LGBTQ+ residents of any American city, Palm Springs Pride serves as the grand finale of California's Pride season.
