Operating from dawn until dusk every day, the park offers a perfect spot for dogs to frolic and play freely under the watchful eyes of dedicated volunteers and trained lifeguards. For the comfort of both dogs and their owners, the park is equipped with benches and drinking fountains, ensuring that everyone can stay hydrated during their playtime. Responsible pet ownership is highly emphasized, and to maintain cleanliness, scoopers and waste barrels are conveniently available for pet waste clean-up.

The Redondo Beach Dog Park is proudly maintained through a collaborative effort between the City of Redondo Beach and the "Friends of the Redondo Beach Dog Park" – a non-profit 501C(3) California Corporation. This devoted group is fueled by the generosity of patrons, volunteers, and the community, with all board members offering their services voluntarily without compensation.

For almost three decades, the Redondo Beach Dog Park has welcomed countless dogs and their owners, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among pet lovers. In partnership with the City of Redondo Beach's Departments of Public Works and Parks and Recreation, the park's dedicated volunteers sponsor and organize various park activities and raise funds to support park maintenance and improvement projects.

While the Dog Park itself does not offer restroom facilities, visitors can conveniently find restrooms at the nearby Southwest area of Dominguez Park, adjacent to the baseball field.

The Redondo Beach Dog Park is a delightful destination that welcomes dogs of all shapes and sizes to enjoy a day of off-leash fun in a safe and well-maintained environment.
