With the majestic Downtown L.A. skyline as the backdrop, Echo Park Lake is surrounded by 16 acres of open recreational space, the parklands, charming footbridge, boathouse, lotus beds, and the "Lady of the Lake" statue. Activities include pedal boats, picnic tables, jogging, and strolls around the perimeter pathway.

Rent a pedal or swan boat on the lake, relax by the waterfront with a cup of Intelligentsia Coffee purchased from the pricey boathouse café, or walk around the path that surrounds its borders. This LA Park provides a natural haven that includes expansive lotus flower beds, wild geese and swans, and lush foliage.

"Nuestra Reina de Los Angeles" ("Queen of the Angels") was sculpted in the Art Deco style by Ada Mae Sharpless and gifted to the City of Los Angeles in 1935.
