If you are heading to the Venice/Santa Monica area of California, there is one thing you absolutely have to do. Rent or bring bicycles and bike to the Santa Monica and Venice Beach Bike Paths. Riding your bicycle along the Pacific coast is paradise. One of the best ways to see and experience the world-famous Venice Beach is biking on the Venice Beach Bike Path. The Venice Beach part of the bike path starts at about Navy Street on the North end and runs through to the Venice Pier at Washington Blvd.
